| Airport Security Badge |

Republic Airport has implemented the national air transportation security identification system. All people needing access to the airside of the airport MUST have a badge. This has been strictly enforced since November 1, 2007
|
To gain access to the operations side of the airport, you will need to apply for a security badge. The badge application process involves an online training course and culminates with an online test. This process assures everyone who has a badge understands the rules, priviladges and obligations the badge gives you.
THis is NOT a Nassau Flyers specific process. It has been put in place for all airports by the TSA.
The cost is $70.00 collected by the TSA. Your badge will be valid for two years. The entire process may be completed online.

To start your training...
- Click here
- Click - "Start badge enrollment here"
- Select a landlord - Sheltair aviation services
- Choose a status - Subtenant of landlord
- Subtenant Name - Nassau Flyers
- Job title - Flight Student (even licensed pilots will choose this)
Your badge will be sent to Nassau Flyers within 3-4 weeks.
