Airport Security Badge
Republic Airport has implemented the national air transportation security identification system. All people needing access to the airside of the airport MUST have a badge. This has been strictly enforced since November 1, 2007
To gain access to the operations side of the airport, you will need to apply for a security badge. The badge application process involves an online training course and culminates with an online test. This process assures everyone who has a badge understands the rules, priviladges and obligations the badge gives you.

THis is NOT a Nassau Flyers specific process. It has been put in place for all airports by the TSA.

The cost is $70.00 collected by the TSA. Your badge will be valid for two years. The entire process may be completed online.




To start your training...

  1. Click here
  2. Click - "Start badge enrollment here"
  3. Select a landlord - Sheltair aviation services
  4. Choose a status - Subtenant of landlord
  5. Subtenant Name - Nassau Flyers
  6. Job title - Flight Student (even licensed pilots will choose this)



Your badge will be sent to Nassau Flyers within 3-4 weeks.
